Welcome to the official website for the Wide Bay Australia International Airshow 2009 - three days of aviation action from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July, 2009.
Bundaberg Airport, Queensland will be the host of this magnificent three day event, incorporating the Friday trade day. On Saturday and Sunday, aerial demonstrations, joy flights, and static displays of some of the finest aircraft to take to the skies will be all happening. On the ground, there will be live music, kids' rides, machinery, and of course aircraft. Food and drinks for the whole family will be provide by a wide range of vendors. This is the largest airshow held in Queensland, and the second largest in Australia, we will delight aviation enthusiasts both young and old.
AEROBATICS CHAMPIONS
Planning on visiting the Wide Bay Australia International Airshow? You'll be pleased to know that we have already booked Bundaberg’s own Ian Bent who will be performing an aerobatic display in his Pitts Special. There will be ample viewing room for all visitors, and grand stand seating and corporate chalets are available. EXHIBITORS
The first day of the three day event will be devoted to trade, with aviation, defense and related displays. If your business is involved in or associated with the aviation industry, the Wide Bay Australia International Airshow is a prime opportunity to showcase your products or services. PROCEEDS DONATED TO CHARITY
And don't forget, whether you are a fan of flying who is planning on coming to Bundaberg Airport to see the action and the airplanes, or whether you are a business looking to promote your products or see what services are available, proceeds are donated to very worthy community charities - the main beneficiary being the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia.
