The 2009 Wide Bay Australia International Airshow presented by Wide Bay Australia is proud to feature the BEST in AVIATION with some of the greatest Australian performers in the airshow industry. Our Volunteers are the key to the spirit of this event and we invite you to take part in bringing a top quality event to Bundaberg Queensland!
Following is some important information that you will need to know before you apply as a volunteer. Please take a moment to review this data and return the application. THANK YOU
Days and times
Friday – July 3rd 2009 Trade and Joy Flight Day hours of operation 8am to approximately 5.30 pm
Saturday – July 4th 2009 Airshow 7.30am till 5:30pm
Sunday – July 5th 7.30 am till 5.30pm
Volunteers are asked to work at least five hours per shift
Volunteer areas to consider
- Marshalling airside
- Setup and take down
- Parking
- Hospitality – Chalets / Pavilions
- Security
- Grandstand Hospitality
- Ground Operations
- Administration
- Meet and greet
Volunteers are vital to the overall success of this major aviation event.
For those of you traveling from outer area’s there will be camping grounds adjacent to the airport made available at minimal cost.
